That's a shame Rick. Tassi is such a beautiful place. One of my favourite places. Ok my favourite. What a magnificent place to live. It's a shame to hear that there are parts of it that were treated so badly.
Back in 2010 or it might have been a little before. I went up to the highlands in Indonesia too. That too was a.stunning place to visit. Ok, maybe the people did not have much money but they made do with what they had and lived what I would call an idilic life. Growing everything they needed. Houses over the top of ponds where it fed the fish. Alternators spinning away producing power from the local stream. I had my best meal I had in Indonesia up in those highlands and were treated very nicely.
Those people had a good life from what I saw. Better than living in Jakarta.
