Nah not new to mining. -Worked in the third party underground MCR mines with -Mincor Kambalda 2002 -I was a furnace specialist at the Kalgoorlie ni smelter 6 years when it was both WMC and then BHP took over. Worked last year at Mt keith in the open pit (huge bulk low grade feed).
Done a fair bit in Gold which is actually where I'm currently invested (OZM), they sit on the boundary of Carasue dam, 3km downhill haul straight to the mill. OZM hold a lot more oz's than they're showing, NST are low on Carasue mill feed and are carting 50km plus ore as a top up,so are buying everything within certain expanding radius.
Scott was the red flag that had me walk on BSX (year and a half ago) , with low labour cost in Vietnam he could've given it a red hot crack but instead he choose to constantly lie. I still see a shortage of clean Ni in the future, so like to keep tabs on certain Ni assets, I wouldn't invest here unless things changed dramatically and SW was removed (possible, but he holds a lot of shares).
Re BHP and gold, I spent some time working Olympic dam, you'd be absolutely mind blown if you new the amount of gold in that mine. I heard stories of underground drives being shut due to the grade being off the charts to the point of being a gold price killer (whether that's true or not, I can't vouch, you know the old timers ay lol). You following any decent gold stocks?
