The issue is that we are told the ASX will not allow dollar deal announcements if the company does not provide the name of the company or entity involved, I suppose that NATO or 5 eyes do not want the hack teams to get a heads up on the protection methods being employed at the premises. But there other tech companies such as DRO that put out financial deals but do not name the end client.
i suppose it boils down to the different personalities employed as handlers at the asx.
We have a discrepancy in the rules and thus it really annoys me to see different rules applied on the same or similar news.
