The reason it has jumped all over is the constant guidance misses. Guidance has been off 25-70% on earnings for going on six Q's in a row.
This Q the misses will be large on both EPS and revenue. Doesn't matter 25% to upside or 70% to downside, large misses indicate poor communication with the street and brings management's competence into question.
Street reaction to big misses on the downside are quite predictable.
