I seem to just happen to notice lots of stories about SPR - I don’t go looking for them. This story is just in the AFR and SPR or rather SL, features very prominently. I really liked this para in the article.
”One particular fund manager said he hated Gascoyne, it had torched $35 million of his fund and that it really left a bad taste in his mouth,” Lawson says. “He said he wasn’t interested in hearing our story, but he turned up, sat in a corner and pretended not to listen. Eight minutes later he wanted 5 per cent.””
