.The rapid pace of trading and short holding periods are part of what differentiate hedge funds from traditional long-term investment funds. This ability to quickly enter and exit positions is a key part of their risk management and return generation approaches.Ravenna from my experiences and understandings although there is no set rule these hedge funds generally hold shares for a couple of months on average.
