I've seen a lot of rubbish posted in this forum and I have to admit this is probably the worst one.. Government sells asset all the time whether it is profitable or not profitable.. The main reason the government sells Medibank is to fix the budget as well as allocating the funds for infrastructure..
I guess if you do spend a bit of time reading the prospectus, you'll know about this..
If you are think that the stock market crash is coming, you should sell all your shares right now and duck under the bed until the crash is over. When the crash happened, not a single stock will be spared (including banks, woolies, etc).
