Tisia held 12.2m as at 18/7 and 2.2m as at 5/11 so I assume by now they are out.

O'halloran held 15m as at 18/7 and zero at 5/11 so he is gone.

Transocean held 14m as at 18/7 and 6m at 5/11 so assume they are nearly out.

Comsec held 11m as at 18/7 and 700k at 5/11 so assume they are out.

LYC corp held 9.3m as at 18/7 and zero at 5/11 so they are gone.

Wei Wei Wai held 11.8m on 18/7 and 9.5m on 5/11 so the only substandial holder that appears to have been selling with any decent volume left.

So of the sellers who have shown their hand (or been forced out through personal circumstances and increased margins - I know this has been the case with some) there were 73m shares on 18/7 and 18m left on 5/11. Assuming they are going to get out of everything then there have been 33m shares traded since - so a pretty good guess that they are mostly done.

On the buy side there have not been obvious stand outs - from the top names I can see there were about 15m of additional purchases and about 5-10m of new names appearing (I haven't gone onto deep detail on this side - just approximately).


My conclusions - we have just gone through a very difficult period in markets again and some holders decided to get out or had to get out.


We are within days of a supply vacuum for anyone who wants volume.
