There's so little evidence to support most of the claims of medicinal cannabis.
I do hope one day there is clear evidence for use of refined small molecules of cannabis.
But right now, it's basically fake news.
If you look at the published consumer surveys examining the intent of use....they aren't using cannabis for the proven indications. Getting stoned under guise of a 'medical condition' is really what it is.
If you look to states with liberal cannabis laws. The public support of medical marijuana has really just eased the transition to legalise marijuana for non-medical use.
Maybe that's where companies can create a niche and become profitable long term.
But right now, medical marijuana has a long way to go.
