MediVac Limited is an Australia-based healthcare equipment company. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2007, the Company was engaged in product development and commercialization of technology designed to convert clinical waste onsite into unrecognizable, sterilized material that can be disposed of as general waste. The Company's core product, MetaMizer Series II, is an onsite, single step, automated processor that sterilizes and granulates up to 50 kilograms of clinical and sharps waste per hour. Its output volume is up to 80% less than input. Medivac has formed an alliance with Promedica to facilitate the development of solutions to procurement, supply and disposal of consumables by healthcare institutions. Promedica is a supplier of medical and surgical products to the hospital and healthcare industry. On August 2, 2007, the Company acquired Diakyne Ltd. Diakyne is commercialising its TraceSmart technology for the analysis of constituent elements in fluids.
