Medical insurance premiums are so high

We are a retired couple who previously (in the 2020-2021 FY) paid the exhorbitant amount of $450 per month for full cover health insurance.
Well I THOUGHT that was exhorbitant !
Lo .... now in the next FY our rate has increased to more than $650 per month. This is just an insane amount for 2 healthy people.
We will need to downgrade our plan.
What are the comments by other health fund members.
