Medical Ripoffs - ABC 4 Corners

Excellent program by one of the only decent investigative programs still operating, last night exposing the thieves of the medical establishment. It appears some of the doctor unions too are at last honest enough to speak out about this serious matter and suggest what needs to be done for transparency in the way the system works. This is long overdue and most welcome.

Let's hope the public put pressure on to get changes made to run the greedy cowboys out of business by making the system transparent before our medical costs become a thieves paradise like USA and others and totally unaffordable for the average family.

Nothing wrong with a doctor or anyone else working long hours and after long study, earning a decent income but most people who have been exposed to surgery recently would be well aware of some members of "the ripoff club" who charge crazy figures for simple procedures when there is no sane, decent, or honest reason for doing so. As they so rightly pointed out on the program "there is no correlation between prices charged and quality of work performed" - and these parasites use the fear situation often applicable to a medical situation to facilitate their dirty deeds. Ethics quite often are not even in the same room with some people - they are just opportunists for a quick buck and no better than a thief.
