I note that applicaton for use in Brazil is scheduled for 2013. Unknown the length of that process, but note that its market is the same size as UK. Brazil is also a medical tourism destination for Americans so it could be a proxy inroad to US market.
If ASLOG is the new investor its makes sence in possitioning/agreement for distribution rights, as well as a good investment. A vote of confidence I think.
No mention of Mexico application which is also perhaps the main destination for American medic tourism (uncomplicated-dental etc).
The only drawback is the 10 week application/use program, but you could learn over a couple of weeks how to apply the product and take the rest of the treatment back home, though this would probably be illegal. Worth the risk to fix the problem?
The same goes for Canada, ease of access for the northern states.
It will come down to Americans awareness of the product. The internet should take care of that, youtube etc.
I doubt US clinics will make patients aware of the product before they can use it themselves.
Interesting that Canada with a population of 34 million accounts for 7% of the market and UK with 64 million will only account for 5% of the market. Brazil has 192 million for 5% of market but of course there are socio/economic differences. Not that much with Canada & the UK one would think. Wonder how this was worked out.
