Apologies for late post but if anyone has time today then please go through below link and provide your comment in support of retaining MCIT rule.

I have provided mine and so does the OSL; provided their comments but more comments are required to support MCIT rule.

Today is last for the comment so please don't wait for weekend to provide comment.

Before Donald trump left as a The president of USA, he did one wonderful thing which would and could have benefited many patients who need support or a chance to survive through various medical conditions or disease. That thing was introduction of MCIT rule which would allow automatic benefit of medicare in USA for the patient who uses breakthrough devices.

However, the rule was paused first as soon as Mr. Biden got selected as President of the USA. Obviously, CMS provided reason that during stakeholder consultation process there has been some issue identified with the proposed rule as a reason to put the rule on Hold. Few month later now they are proposing to repeal the rule and above link is the place to provide your comments on it.

In past doctors, pharmaceuticals and insurance companies in USA has strongly opposed MCIT rule for their own vested interest (IMO), but I believe the rule was removed more of Trump vs Biden as well as CMS vs FDA politics then anything else (IMO).

Nevertheless please take sometime to put your comment through above link if you support MCIT rule which obviously key to OSL get reimbursement for the device for four years after it gets certain approval to sell the device in USA.

There are other pathways to get reimbursement but MCIT was most convenient not just for patients but also for device manufacturer to get reimbursement for their device so don't lose hope if this one is repealed.

I do have vested interest to support this rule but there are other organisation who supported it as well. As always not just Australia but across the world politics mostly take sense out of the commonsense.. but we can always try to provide our opinion what we believe in. No matter how people looked at Trump's administration style but this rule was the best he signed off before leaving office but unfortunately Biden who people see as a nice guy screwed it up within a month of taking charge of the office... IMO....! (I don't support Trump or Biden this comment is just my general view on how people see Trump & Biden .. ).

Please Do not buy or sell stock based on my opinion on this post as I simply wanted everyone to go in and provide their support for MCIT if you also believe in it.

I have confidence on new director Ricky and hopefully he will drive company in right direction scientifically unlike others in past just drove in the dark ... IMO.
