The government has a "Mental Health Care Plan"that GPs can use when referring patients to psychologists and that covers some of the psychologists fee reducing the out of pocket expense for the patient.
In theory the Medibio response can be a variable used to support that referral - and even more so the Vital Converstions part of the check in that contains a DASS as a subscore...
For the government to have a medicare rebate on the Medibio test... that will require a detailed submission to the committee that decides to pay for new tests... and would be a very very big undertaking...
