Agree. Until they fully develop and commercialise Solid state Li batteries.
These will carry more energy, will charge more quickly, and contain more Ni!
Toyota is well ahead in this development and VW has acquired another company that was doing the same.
Solid state will initially cost more but will need fewer cells (less weight) for the same range.
