Some people may have bought the stock thinking it would be a good trading stock or for a short term spike.

Those that bought in with the belief that a company that is producing and selling a product is much better than one with hype and no production will have a longer timeframe view.

I agree with you. A 3 or 4 year time frame is important in a stock like this and patience is a virtue. (BHP dropped from $48 to $31, then went back to $50. Those that stayed in are reaping the rewards. Those that bought low are reaping the rewards.)

Consider the current price as a time to accumulate.
