@leilagee21 I did not say 'selling shares for $150'. You need to read carefully. You as a holder of the shares give them $150 and they will provide a certificate declaring "these shares are worthless" so you can claim in tax. I am not suggesting you do that or that claim is valid. As MDC is giving the shareholders a share of royalty, these may not be considered worthless by ATO.
