Meekatharra has improved in prices in last year. Some old trashed homewst stuff sold for under $50,000 but needed $30,00 to fix and you have to do it yorself as the traiies are too expensive. The rents have picked up as well but be aware. Services cost a fortune. Air con mechanic will cost double city prices. Do not even think of building there. If brave enough buy an existing cheapie. Some of the properties that come up are not advertised on Realestate.com. Need to put the word out with agents and be ready to move. Who knows what will happen but high return means high risk. Take look at Mount Magnet was all the go few years ago now cannot give them away for $80,000 Meekatharra is worth doing your homework on in my opinion but be carefull.
