Yes the joy of living in the north west.
This is where research into housing location is really important. I lived in Kununurra for several years. Homes west houses are mixed throughout the town with Government and private dwellings. You could build your dream home and have a destructive homes west house two doors down.
Drive 1000 km to Broome and yes there are areas of Broome where this occurs but there are also areas like Djugun "Roebuck Estate" and Sunset Park (the nice part of Cable Beach) where there is no homes west. I believe this is because the town is bigger.
Meeka on the other hand is a small town and I would imagine the example above could (and would) quite easily happen.
It will be a high risk "investment" that's for sure.
As for Magnet....That sure one town you don't stop at (apologies to all from Mount Magnet).
