These non exec directors are getting paid 100k to attend 8 or 9 meetings a year. This is not their real job and more a side gig in which they probably have a real job somewhere else or multiple of these side gigs.
Show of confidence and MAY being skint of cash now would have been to forgo this fee and taken the fee as share's instead
