I rang that number at the time of the first meeting to see what I could find out. It went to the voicemail of this woman; I eventually got through and when I did she wouldn't discuss the specifics of MDX application.
However, she did tell me that the ACMC do not give approval they merely make a recommendation to the Minister who then provides the approval and that the Minsiter's decision takes some time after that.
