If Geoff doesn't not put any note of formality on the comments once they appear on HC, then we on HC won't know how accurately his comments have been relayed to us.
It's not Geoff's integrity that would be questioned, it's yours. In a perfect world, I'd love to just take you at your word, but for all I know, you could be scamming us.
Don't take it personally, you have no reason to trust me either. We're on an anonymous forum, after all.
