the issue of options at such a favourable excercise price was to be put forth for discussion/voting at the coming general meeting.
the overall remuneration of senior employees should be 'aligned to and driven by the creation of shareholder wealth' but the latter has yet to be created.In fact further funding is very much on the cards even before any significant progress in 'shareholder wealth' is to be expected.
'It is common throughout the resources industry worldwide' that options for senior executives should be performance based and it does not make sense for senior employees to be given 'free shares' via 'underpriced' option excercise prices.
