Email the company this morning about what happens to the approved annedments to the block commitments. Announcement (12/06/2013). Response from Rowbottam:
On the Seychelles, pending a face to face meeting next month at the invitation of the Seychelles government we expect;
• That the existing work commitments of the Amended and Restated Petroleum Agreement will be confirmed,
• That the Company’s alternative work programme as proposed needs to be reviewed, and
• Subject to Seychelles Government approval a further amendment.
As noted in the announcement the Company is still working to finalise a deal on the La Bella.
This is the asset that most likely will transform the Company from explorer to producer and provide long term value to shareholders.
Additionally the Company still has on active watch the Palta well that Shell has been drilling since October 2012.
Will the Seychelles govt go for another amendment to the work program? Very big ask I think .
