I have no idea what more info you would want from the outcomes of the AGM, because all I needed to know what was the outcome of the vote and confirmation that the board would just get on with the job and I got that.

With regard to the takeover and offer for the permian assets, I don't expect that they would be able to provide any meaningful detail due to the confidentialiity provisions other than to say if either party have walked away or if the terms of the offer had been changed - which would they would announce when it happened as is required by ASX listing rules.

I don't see why you've brought up the subject of the decision to reject the initial $300m USD offer time and time again in here because we've gone through the frustration of that lack of info before, but I guess if you really want to keep dragging out the dirty laundry then that's your choice.

The CRH share price suffered not because of a lack of communication but because it delivered some really awful results. No amount of communication or spin was going to patch up falling revenue and other business problems.

how hard would it be for AZZ to announce something like" following on from the recent EGM the company continues to engage with the other party and expects some resolution of the discussions in the next XX weeks"
or do as they do and say nothing!
and james wonders why the SP doesn't reach his own self set price targets ..eg $1 by 31/12/2012!!!!!
