    Hi All,

I attended the meeting today at Floreat, after the minutes Steve Carter talked through the presentation. Now excuse my memory but here a couple of things that stood out.

He made the example of a child in Africa that gets malaria in a remote village, currently the mother may have a 6 hour walk to the hospital and if the child is still alive when they get there then medication is administered by a nurse and they stay in a crowded hospital in poor conditions with other malaria patients especially if there's malaria going around. With Artimist on hand, the mother can give it to the child at the village and the child may be well on its way to recovery by the time they get to the hospital.

Steve explained Artimist is administered orally under the tongue and is easy and efficient way of getting the drug into the blood stream. Other products they are looking to develop are also administered this way, such as Viagra.

He also mentioned the Artimist story is largely unknown, he had offered the story to the current affairs TV programs but as there's no more significant malaria in Australia they weren't interested in doing a story.

As I say these are the points I'm remembering now, I came out of the meeting very optimistic and I have held "THUD" for a couple of years now and still do.

    Thanks, Greg
