Didn't mean to sound critical - just trying to find reasons why we don't get better press, and wondering if the team prefers it that way for a reason, but if they too are befuddled and really want suggestions to help address that issue, then I suggest we get proactive and offer some.
OK here's my take on it.
A good PR person has to: 1. Be credible - ie know what they are talking about (understand the facts and numbers and present them well) 2. Believe what they say and in what they do 3. Be able to get others excited about the product 4. Sell not just the company but the people in it
I know someone here in HC who fills all those credentials and in addition has the expertise and the passion for the company to do that job admirably. Would provide great value-add for CMR.
