A bit of my take on the meeting - from what I remember – forgot to take a pen – unfortunately it was not until after the meeting I saw a big jar full of the bloody things on the water table – oh well – but unfortunately I have forgotten more than I remembered

Found the board pretty open and frank

Has been some Q’s here re why placements were made to citadel and harbinger instead of just going with the Chinese and that it was a waste to make those placements because in only a matter of weeks they went and did real deal with HNC – It was news to me but apparently HNC has been interested in us for a long time and negotiations have been going on for quite a while - but HNC was pretty relaxed as far as signing off went – I took it as if they may have been thinking we need them as much as anything so no need to hurry – that was until placement were made to the US mobs Harbinger and Citadel – china suddenly realized hang on they might go without us – and suddenly became rather more motivated and quickly committed. – that little insight explained a bit for mine

As an aside – cant recall which order it was in but Harbinger and Citadel both assessed us differently – one looked at us as a future U miner and the other as a future base metals miner – and while both looked at us different way they came up with the same decision and don’t hold me too it but I think similar values

Re uranium development study ETA – GT told himself and us during his talk that he shouldn’t commit to an anticipated completion date but he went ahead and suggested one anyway lol he hopes for it to be completed by late this year or early next year – remember it is pretty much Nov now – so really only looking 2 – 3 months – think it was suggested approvals process to commence once that study given the nod

Mr Swan reckons wet seasons in NT should not mean reduction in out put during wet – he has worked mines in Bougainville and suggests the “wet”in the NT has nothing on the “wets’ on B/ville – I was happy to hear that answered so directly coz was a little niggling worry in back of my mind

Staff/recruitment progressing – it was suggested that some good local people who are currently working in remote areas and offshore and as such forced to spend a lot of time away from home and family already find the idea of a worksite 1 hour drive from Darwin very attractive so we should have our pick of some of the best

If I recall correctly – please anyone present tell me if I am wrong but I think they indicated they are aware that they maybe could have “sold” the company and plans a bit better – they are conducting a series of Broker presentations soon – mainly in NT – maybe that will address some of the funny media cover we are getting but GT seemed a bit at a loss as to how to get fair comment from the media – I clearly recall him saying if anyone has an idea how to get the media to understand us better and publish fairer comments he’s open to ideas – so if you have an idea I’d spear him an email and remind he asked for it lol

In summary, my take on it is that everything we have spoken about in here has been spoken about at board level and I think the got a clear message we eagerly await progress on the uranium side of things

This was my first shareholder meeting so probably missed a lot of subtle info also forgot my pen so scratching the memory banks hard -- am sure more seasoned holders will post further
