I came across this Company in my search for excellent Gold Prospects, and quite simply couldn't believe the risk vs reward on offer here.
A company with cash in underexplored territory, with mineralisation similar to 3Moz mines, with an excellent IN-COUNTRY team who have done it before and MD/CEO who also is very active in the humanitarian fields (see bottom) - always very heartening to see.

In particular check out those cores, especially from Chakata prospect.... looks beautiful indeed!




The Company has two flagship projects Babicho and Chakata Gold Projects.
I think the Company is particularly EXCITED about Chakata as they brought another second drill to expedite it

1. Results for trench and drill results from Babicho are due imminently (upon analysis and review) while
2. The larger drill program at Chakata project is currently underway.

Babicho

Previous work: 4x trenches and 4x shallow drill holes with standout results of 10m @ 3.5g/t Au and 1m @35.3g/t Au. The preliminary work confirmed Babicho's potential to host significant gold mineralisation.

In parallel to drilling, a trenching program was also underway to fully test the high-order soil anomaly.

"This program seeks to confirm Babicho’s potential to host significant gold mineralisation and the early observations of retrieved core have been extremely encouraging. The core exhibits many of the attributes noted in the lithology, alteration and mineralisation of the Lega Dembi and Sakaro gold deposits (>3Moz Au), situated along strike to the south. Most notably, observations indicate that a 40m wide zone1 contains quartz veining with visible pyrite, chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite mineralisation within highly altered meta-sediments that include graphitic schists (see Figure 1)."

Samples from both drilling and trenching were prepared and transported to ALS labs in Perth, Western Australia.
Combined results of drill and trench samples are due.

Chakata Gold Project

Chakata is located in the Adola Gold Belt in southern Ethiopia, only five kilometres south along strike from the country’s largest producing gold mines, Lega Dembi and Sakaro (+3Moz)
Historical exploration provided walk-up, drill-ready targets at Chakata. Historical trenching at Chakata’s GT Prospect returned an impressive 47m @ 1.55g/t Au, including 25m @ 2.57g/t Au
"Targets are open at depth and untested down-plunge by drilling - i.e. there has been no known drill testing at depth beneath the trench.
Early observations from these works have shown these targets to host highly mineralised quartz and visible gold, providing the Company with the confidence to double the metreage of the first drilling program and secure an additional drill rig to test the various targets. The second and third drilling campaigns are expected to commence during Q2"
Drilling has been focused on the CT Prospect during Q1 CY2021 (Figure 4). Holes completed as part of the initial drilling program (Figure 2) have intercepted zones of several-metre-wide quartz veins with visible tourmaline-pyrite-chalcopyrite-galena mineralisation (Figures 3 & 4). The Company has been encouraged by this as gold rich zones at the nearby Lega Dembi and Sakaro gold deposits (>3Moz) display a similar assemblage and mineralisation. Drilling will continue at the CT Prospect and subsequently move to the GT Prospect (historical trench result of 25m @ 2.57g/t Au) in Q2 CY2021"

I also like the MD/CEO Michael Gumbley who is very actively involved in helping the needy and community and ALL MD's should take a page out of his book. I will always be happy to park my hard earned in a Company helping the local community rather than pillaging the country of it's resources.
