Hmmm ... we have moved awhile back and now have a Coles and Woolworths nearby which is handy. Recently we noted Diced Beef at Coles was $10.99 and $17.99 at Woolworths which helped us decide where we would shop.
Got the ruler out and found latest WOW profits up a staggering 26% on +10% revenue ... and we all know wot that means.
In fact, Woolworths profits have become so bloated that a $1billion buy-back is being contemplated ... the thing yer do when yer swimming in green and don't know wot to do with it.
Just seems a tad 'unAustralian' to be gouging profits at a time when most are struggling just to put food on the table.
