Hi All,
On ABC radio today- a deal as mooted 5 years ago between Japan and the EU has been rapidly advanced and consummated, partly due to the US trade tariffs issues, those recently announced and due to USA’s withdrawal from trade in the Pacific Partnership.
The most interesting points incude “free market conditions” both ways with benefits for EU & Japan in importing dairy, wine, foods etc, with an open market for selling electronics and motor vehicles to the EU. Makes sense.
The dollars are massive and I’d expect this deal will add much weight to demand for the likes of our base and even precious metals!!.
So JOGMEC and Toho Zinc may like to place a few timely options, on our high grade resources.
