What is it you do not understand about 'must be acquired by 20 Feb'. Where does it say or imply 'can be extended'. The announcement is referring to the offtake - which continues - not the 12c options and the entitlement to a discount. That dies on the 20th Feb.
You guys just make stuff up - and the backslappers love it. The AUZ forum is becoming more and more like Fantasia!
