Megaport's new chief revenue officer Rodney Foreman has liked two articles on LinkedIn about Exclusive Networks (a massive cloud/cybersecurity tech distributor) looking to partner with new tech vendors. They are a reseller of CloudFlare, among others, which Megaport has also partnered with.
It seems imminent that Megaport will be partnering up with Exclusive Networks. Imagine when Exclusive Networks recommends a Megaport connection for every one of their customers.
The partner/reseller model is compelling because Megaport's infrastructure fabric is currently underutilized. As resellers/managed service providers utilise Megaport's platform, virtually all of that revenue will fall into the bottom line with little opex for Megaport.
