If this is the case the timing is impeccable. No update in the app (which as you said it's been ready to roll out for a while). Wait untill a bucketload of shares are about to hit the market and don't give any updates or news - thus allowing the SP to fall hard.
Wouldn't all of this give a perfect opportunity for someone to mop up the shares at a VERY LOW price under the current climate?
Big conspiracy theory but if this is the case the news of any sort won't come until instos are on board then they will make the suggestions you have mentioned and provide news flow.
Considering how low % the top 20 hold could the company be happy to let the SP do what it's doing to make things enticing for instos or themselves to take a bigger placement in the company at a very opportune time.
