Albeit this increases revenue, it decreases the urge to login daily and using up the 5 votes as the votes will just sit there until you login next. I think the company is targeting a high DAU as indicated in the previous announcement about platform being optimised for 1m DAU.

Once they have a significant user base, I think DAU should be introduced and not now. but that's just my opinion as clearly company have their own plans in place.
