Nobull, you're setting impossible, effectively irrational tests.
Jordinson inherited a dead asset. Stolen from us in Murdoch's time in 2006. Murdoch had an Iranian wife, strong experience of iranian culture and connections but they took it off him - twice! Frank Reid was appointed to try and rescue Mehdiabad with all of the cultural understanding you extol but failed. Jordinson, who you criticise for lacking in these areas, has achieved something the others could not. Of course he didn't do that by himself, there is a loyal local network around MZC who provide all the language and culture that is needed.
Fact is the problem here is not Jordinson's knowledge of Iran just as Murdoch and Reid's large experience was not an asset. You say the former is short changing us but the latter left us with no change at all! The problem is Iran and the fact it has too many Iranians steeped in cultural values that see no wrong in what we've suffered. Your tale of the carpets says it all - non Iranians are rightly to be exploited. The strong moral lesson from this is that Iran and Iranians cannot be trusted by non Iranians. There is no pot of gold for UCL at the end of all this no matter who is in charge. The best we can hope is that the Iranians see fit to leave us the pot.
Ultimately I'm hoping that Jordinson finds a way to sell our stake for a reasonable sum. Far better to get out of there with something in our pocket now then constantly be fearful of what thieving ploy they'll come up with next.
