The tape will show that there was significant mention of his partners and supporting players. He named his geologists by name, he talked about the assessment process and the outcome. He talked about how we got here and where we are going from here plus the field work of the teams. If you had also come to speak to him at the booth you would get a lot more time and discussion for any questions you had including details of the contractors, landholders, the huge amount of work underneath to get there . . the assessment process to get to this opportunity and the logistics and people involved.
He also takes calls. He had little time on stage in an audience of largely retirees who were looking pretty tired after lunch and were looking forward to a red wine from the cellar downstairs.
It's an assumption that the previous explorers had overlooked or not cared about the asset. But it's publically known they ran out of money before they could get to the next steps after they paid themselves buckets in fees.
They also didnt Drill Novo Astro. That could be a duster or something significant. No one knows because no one has drilled it.
Time will tell if that's the case and whether it's all razamatazz and showmanship . . or do we have a mine. Given the money being put into this by smarter people than me . .and the 5 bags a few people made today may have made a few people happy.
Geology will always surprise us but we're doing a pretty good job so far. I like these kind of surprises.
