This seems to suggest that the new IPO price will be at $0.20. Anyone have thoughts?
There is no actual IPO. Yes, post the deal, the theoretical price is 20 cents. But that means little, the price could be anywhere by end of may.
Also, whilst I do not doubt the future of bitcoin and crypto-currencies and think management is amazing, the current price of MEJ of $0.059 at a 5.715:1 share consolidation implies a premium of almost 70%.
I don't think so. If you look at the bottom line, there are now 38m 'free' shares on issue. Once the deal is done there will be 166m shares on issue. That's a ratio of 4.36 appx. I think that is the figure to work with, not the 5.715. The apparent discrepancy is accounted for in the capital raising and other one-off accounting. More later on this.
the risk here is higher than other stocks.
That's why they are currently worth only 5.9...6.2...6.8, sorry!
