    China love bitcoin because it's the one 'currency' their government and government-regulated banking systems can't get their hands on..
    Although China tried to stop that by banning banks from processing bitcoin transactions (http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-12-05/china-s-pboc-bans-financial-companies-from-bitcoin-transactions.html), it hasn't had a great deal of effect especially seeing as BTCChina one of the largest exchanges is still running
