What @Dannygold failed to see in suggesting my trade was risky for a few pips, was that it was actually .07 of a cent so basically 10%. That's a significant move. For example with my WHC trades I look for 10 cent movements which is far less obviously in a $6 -7 stock.

The other thing I do is invest my profits from each stock I trade (and hold), back into buying more of the stock. So I don't have to pump more money into my SMSF to build stock positions, when I'm already retired.

The road to production is long and in between announcements, it has been a very sound strategy to make a small parcel work for you while protecting your main holding. AND, adds a lot more interest to your stock watching days!
