If there is any sliver of hope for MEL, it is in working with the local communities - which will exclude any kind of fracking. Now or in the future. Peter Henderson, with his dogged attitude of trying to get the better of whoever he thinks his opponents are, is just as superseded as a 10 ton dinosaur.
MEL could have a future if they developed a sustainable business model, focusing on truly conventional gas and renewable energy. Of course, that would mean disappointing all those shareholders who expected windfall gains for doing nothing. Well, fact is that windfall gains are possible, but windfall losses are the other side of the coin. QED.
