With Mr Short taking the position of Chairman, if there's a M&A in place I sincerely hope it's not going to be MEO. Despite MEL has announced recently that they place offshore projects right down the bottom of the ladder, the connection with Mr Short in MEO and the drama with ELK early this year gives me the nerves.
Will be closely following the development into the future.
Another poster has mentioned BUL in QLD as a potential partner. I've no idea with other small gas explorers in Australia after investing in NSW for so long. Please share if you (and other shareholders) know.
Like many long-term MEL shareholders, investing in NSW O&G has taken a huge toll on me. Not broke, but rather heartbroken in regards to how dirty politics is allowed in a country where "fair go" is/was the norm.
So hold your head up high fellows, we are down but not out.
