When Alex Lang joined Metgasco I had mixed feeling about how the company could be heading to the end ... Due to his tenure with the ill fated Bulder Steel (BGD) which was aiming to build a Steel plant in Gladstone and ultimately became something such as most penny dreadful ended up to be ... Nothing!
Like you Stumpy, I can see the Board is taking cautious steps. But believe me, I miss the days when almost all company announcements are about drillings and flow-rates, and not about NIMBYS and knitting nanas.
So if MEL is able to establish itself somehow and somewhere (eg. New tenements or merge with another Coy.) then I am all for it.
I have almost MENTALLY written off my MEL shares, so anything that might bring it up five folds is going enough for me.
