Could not believe, after all the heartache we went thru with The Greens scaremongering campaign and MEL witchhunt. We now have Jeremy Buckingham from The Greens, saying on Channel 9's A current affair tonight, that he warned the Govt from 4 years ago, that there would be a gas shortage coming and now want a gas reservation policy. Weren't the Greens the ones against all fossil fuels, demonising natural gas whether it was conventional or CSG and only wanted solar and windfarms? NSW and VIC Govt still have gas bans and depend on other States. Turnbull has been talking about gas supply, yet still nothing for NSW or VIC.
We were robbed by the LNP State Govt. Baird did a runner when he did backflips on his wrong policies, but no backflip for MEL. Just wished management and shareholders had stuck to their guns. Glenda wanted us to keep fighting, but it was not to be.
Currently have my MEL crumbs in SXY. Wishful thinking, just dreaming ,if I could recover my Mel losses, I plan to cancel my Commsec account for good. Leave the share trading to the people born with silver spoons in their mouths, like it used to be, not working class people like me, who cant afford to lose money.
Go Mel and SXY!!
Hoping good things eventually come to all Mel shareholders.
