Where I live its up to 30 and I am complaining, lol.
Jan and Feb here have an average max of 26.8 and usually it doesn't vary much day to day.
When I was a bushie I felt 45 a few times and it is hot. The wind cooks you.
We would have weeks over 40 and it never got below 30 at night but my Sydney friens would say, "Ah, but you don't have the humidity". Well there probably isn't much humidity in a bush fire but it is bloody hot.
Tonight I will go up to the lighthouse park and cook a nice barbecue in the breeze and watch the waves crashing.
Sorry Melbourne, lived there for several years and you can keep it. Why they play tennis there in Jan is beyond me.
