Think he has learnt some, strike rate in Melbourne used to be poor but not of recent times. Will be tough to beat the internationals but my bets on the Cup are usually just because its the Cup. Exotics were my bet of choice because of all the once a year punters -money spread all over the field giving the chance for massive dividends. Can only recall backing two Cup winners, Kingston Rule and Viewed - the second of those really paid off as a group of us were there and my better half backed Bauer so we did have a little on the quinella and field for 3rd in the trifecta.
