how far back do accurate records go?
well the Richter scale was standardized in the late 30's
It is easy to be amazed by biggest ever recorded quake over an 80 year period.
The next 80 years could very well throw the stats out considerably.
not having a go dolphin, just looking at it beyond the limited span that it is.
