The Catholic Irish migration to Oz and New York in the 1800's and early 1900's elicited the same concern with accompanying crime. Back then they actually deported problem migrants.As long as we continue to import ethnically rooted people we will repeat the same thing over and over again and hope successive generations will grow out of their poor cultural habits and become meat pie lovers and vegemite connoisseurs.
