The point is that people can make their own decisions!! We're not 5 year olds. Sally Squarepants thinks she's a kindergarten teacher looking after a flock of children. Adults understand that when it's hot, you have a drink of water. We even have in-built sensors to tell us when to have a drink or seek shade (thirst and sweating). Her nannying is so typical of the condescending political class. To look after one or two people who might faint or become dehydrated, she's cancelled an entire event! The nannying twerp made that decisionon behalf of everyone!

If it was in a heavily treed regional area, yes, you'd cancel on a 40 degree day. But there's zero risk of fire in the CBD.

Melburnians have come to understand that under Dictator Dan they have to celebrate as directed now. (Or else)

That means hot days like Melbourne on the 4th of February this year being 38 degrees was ok ‘cause they had water and that type don’t do drugs for dancing and stuff, we can trust them more than the average Australian family. No fire problem either apparently.

Melbourne has been getting a roasting but it’s not been due to the weather.

The rules down in Vic are different. Maybe a different face for government but the policy is the same. LGBTQ+++ good, average Australian family bad.
